Ndella is a beautiful girl who is from the Wolof ethnic group. She lives with her parents and her father is a driver who does not earn more than US $1000 per year. The income is not sufficient to satisfy twelve persons' basic needs.
As for Ndella's mother, she is a brave housewife who always manages to fix the daily meals which are often based on rice. Ndella and her parents live in the family house which they share with other relatives. They live in a house where there is electricity and also running water supply.
Ndella is just starting her school career and she finds the joy of learning. After school she enjoys playing with her friends and running small errands. She will be very pleased to hear that there is a person who will assist her.

Hop was born in a mountainous province in one of the poorest areas of Northern Vietnam. Hop, her parents and brothers shelter in a stilt house with a tile roof and bamboo walls. Hop's parents are subsistence farmers whose livelihood depends on cultivating rice, corn and cassava in fields and hilly areas. However, the harvest is frequently affected by uncertain weather, forcing the family to survive most years on a single harvest from the summer-autumn season.
The family relies on water from a shallow well which often gets polluted by animal waste and garbage. Healthcare services in the area are very poor and the children often suffer from malnutrition, eye or respiratory infections. The school in Hop's commune is located in the centre but many children have to walk several kilometres on a rough road to reach it.
Hop is a good student at school. She is very fond of writing skills. She likes skipping, singing and dancing and dreams to be a teacher. Your sponsorship will open a bright future for Hop, helping her and the community access a better standard of life

Ramon is a young Brazilian boy who lives with his mother and stepfather, Josefa and Francisco, and with two younger siblings, in a small agricultural community about 300 miles south of Fortaleza. Their simple home, which is rented, has hollow-brick walls, rough cement floors and a clay-tiled roof. It has precarious sanitary facilities.
Francisco struggles to earn a living as a bricklayer but can barely make ends meet. The per-capita family income is less than US$ 50.00 per month, or half of the minimum monthly wage in the country. The family is of the Catholic faith and their native language is Portuguese. Ramon is smart and obedient. He runs messages for his mom.
He likes playing with balls and toy cars along with other kids his age. He is fond of animals, though he does not have any at this time. Ramon is considered to have good health. He attends preschool at a day care center maintained by the project where he also receives nutritious meals and care, besides participating in many different recreational activities. He says he will be a bricklayer when he grows up. Your support will mean a lot to this needy child.
